There are many words available to answer this question. But words are not enough. Not to just make a play on words, but one of the first things that I learned from my dad is you just dont hang on, you give your life purpose. It dont have to be saving the world from all the bad guys. You dont have to be the greatest at what you do. Just be you, that is the greatest you can be. Buy being you I am not talking about doing just what ever. Even if it is hurting someone else. What I mean is this. Take control of your life, even if it is a little at a time. The control that I am speaking of is refusing toxic thoughts and choices.brI am a musician, and when I was first learning to play I was given some good wise advice. An old man told me to learn to play like I already knew how. That way I would just be walking through the steps of practicing what I already knew, rather than facing failures ups and downs. He said facing failure this way is an advantage. The reality is, there is no failure in the learning process, we fail only when we quit or give up. When we are learning something new, even in the area of healthy life styles, being a happy learner is very progressive. Since I play guitar, I of course begin to grade myself in comparison to others. Understanding...that a c, cord is a c, cord...what I was comparing was style not ability, or principle. Ability and time experience. I finally realized that there would always be someone faster, and knew more than I did at the time.brThe important thing that I faced in learning to play guitar was, am I going to give my self the time and space to learn the steps and then apply my own style to the music. Bob Dylan and Neil Young did not have the most trained voice in the world. But they were successful being who they were. But they still had to follow the principles of music. Once they learned enough about the principles of music they begin to apply the music to there individual styles, and also there individual styles to the music principle. That is how they came up with their style of music.brThat is why we have the Gospel of Matthew, the Gospel of Mark, also Luke and John. Thats their individual view point.brRemember it is hard to just keep hanging on, time will ruin the best of the strongest. And as Neil Young has said...the devil fools with the best laid plans. And as Bob Dylan has said...youve got to serve somebody.brJesus said come to Me and I will give you Life and Life more abundantly.brSo how do I hang on? I dont. I put my feet on the ground and take one faith step after the other. Every person has a love for life, that is the truth, but all dont believe that. But if a person will receive the truth, that person will be free to pursue all the life they can handle.
