Well, it would be interesting to see what happened if Voldy showed remorse before all of his horcruxes had been destroyed. Dumbly mentioned that remorse was the only way to quothealquot someone of the soulshivering that was required to form the horcruxes. With all of those soulpieces destroyed, it doesnt seem as if there would be much purpose in showing remorse at the very end. However, if he had showed remorse after killing HP, it would have been interesting to see how his soulfragment from Nagini would be restored to his current physical form and rejoined to his remaining fragment of soul. It would have been even more interesting if he had shown remorse before killing HP, so that his soul fragment in HP could be returned to him.
